Lord Milton should have been a happy man, with an ancient title and a magificent estate.

I very much enjoyed reading this book. I'm not a fan of romance books unless they are gothic romance but BarbaraCartland wrote her books that take you back that time. This is not mushy or explicit as some books are.

A great clean romance. Each book has unique characters
Quite an interesting read, but again I wonder how much of this was actually written by Barbara Cartland. Her Hero is completly different from the usual even to having the very plebian name of John. Although it follows the usual Cartland plot, I find some of the words and actions simply not ringing true. However, it is still a very readable story.
